Internship Opportunities
Workforce Recruitment Program
We participate each year in the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP), a government program which interviews people with disabilities who are current college students or recent college graduates and enrolls them in a nationwide work recruitment database. WRP staff will interview interested students each fall semester. Student Access Center and Career and Employment Services staff will work with students to complete a resume and practice interviewing skills prior to the WRP interview.
Entry Point
Entry Point is a program from the American Association for the Advancement of Science that helps students with disabilities to find paid internships in STEM fields. To apply, you must be a U.S. citizen with a disability (apparent or non-apparent). You must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student and have a GPA of 3.0 or better. Applications are accepted starting each September and are sent to companies or government agencies starting in October, but applications are still accepted after this point.
